The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Bede O.M. Anyanwu with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Michigan State University School of Law.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Bede guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Drafted real estate documents that were misleading as to the true sales price of the property

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bede by gifting him with a  complimentary censure.
