The state of Tennessee provided Lenal Anderson Jr. with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Columbia University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Lenal guilty of the following misconduct.

Lenal’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Neglected client’s legal matter
• Dilatory in responding to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Lenal!)
• Failed to keep complete escrow records

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Lenal by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Lenal’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
