Attorney Stuart Breakstone of Memphis, TN; repeat offender

The state of Tennessee provided Stuart Brian Breakstone with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Stu guilty of the following misconduct.

Stu’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Stu was removed as counsel for an ex-wife/mother as a direct result of a conflict of interest arising from his

personal relationship with that client during that representation in a post-divorce/custody proceeding.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Stu by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Stu’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to safeguard client property and funds
• Failed to provide client with written agreement re: receipt of $4,000
