South Carolina’s 2018 Attorney Ivory Soap Purity Rating = 98.2%

Ivory Soap advertises a purity rating of 99.44%. In the South Carolina legal system, there are 10,445 attorneys practicing throughout the state. For the year 2018, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court handed out the following complimentary sanctions against one-hundred-sixty-nine (169) attorneys for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

• 92 = number of letters of caution
• 15 = number of suspensions
• 9 = number of admonitions
• 8 = number of disbarments
• 14 = number of reprimands
• 31 = number of transfers to disability/inactive with discipline pending

This laughable finding by the South Carolina Supreme Court means that South Carolina has a 98.2% Ivory Soap Purity rating for 2018 is preposterous in that it indicates the near impossibility of finding a dishonest or incompetent attorney.

This would mean that if all 169 attorneys attended a University of South Carolina baseball game at the Founders Park Stadium with a seating capacity of 8,242 it’d be nearly impossible to locate the 169 unethical attorneys even if they raised their hands in unison.
