Attorney John Dodds III of Mt. Pleasant, SC; lying loser

The State of South Carolina presented John Joseph Dodds III with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Knowingly disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2016), Johnny practices with The Law Firm of Cisa & Dodds LLP at 858 Lowcountry Blvd in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
