Attorney James Craven of Greenville, SC; idiotic slacker

The State of South Carolina presented James Stone Craven with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Violated his oath of office
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to safeguard client property
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed about status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Violated financial recordkeeping rules

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016) Jimmy practices with the Law Office of James Stone Craven at 304 Pettigru Street in Greenville, South Carolina.
