Attorney Catherine Berger of Piedmont, SC; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented Catherine Joan Berger with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

The Disciplinary Commission found Cathy guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Neglected client personal injury claims
2. Allowed statute of limitations to expire on client’s claims
3. Failed to communicate with client
4. Misrepresented (lied) about status of legal matter to her client

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Cathy by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Cathy practices with Catherine J. Berger LLC at 185 and Highway Junction 29 in Piedmont, South Carolina.
