Attorney Steven Murray of West Warwick, RI; guilty of felony assault

The State of Rhode Island  presented Steven A. Murray (SAM) with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the Western New England University School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Stevie  guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Pled no contest (guilty in effect) to felony assault
• Sentenced to three-year term of imprisonment, which was suspended with probation
• Pled nolo contendere (guilty in effect) to misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence
• Sentenced to one-year imprisonment on DUI conviction, which sentence suspended with term of probation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2019), Stevie practices at 54 East Main Street in West Warwick Rhode Island.
