Attorney Robert Loventhal of Newport, RI; repeat offender

The state of Massachusetts presented Robert D. Loventhal with a law license in 1974 after she graduated from Boston College Law School.

The Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform three-way reconciliation of trust account
• Failed to maintain client account ledger
• Improperly withdrew funds from trust account

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Bobby’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Bobby by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Bobby.
