Attorney Richard Walters of Pittsburgh; convict

The state of Pennsylvania presented Richard J. Walters with a law license in 1976.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Richard guilty of the following misconduct.

After a non-jury trial in Allegheny County, Richard was found guilty but mentally ill on charges of harassment, harassment by communication, and terroristic threats.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Richards 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary informal admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Richard by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2013) Richard practices at 5005 Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
