Attorney Joseph Maher of Emmaus, PA; moronic criminal

The state of Pennsylvania provided Joseph P. Maher with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the Dickinson School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Found in criminal contempt on two (2) separate occasions
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Joey!)
  • Failed provide competent representation (moron)
  • Falsely blamed missed court appearance on car troubles
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conflict of interest involving a client
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective Feb 25, 2019.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Joey practices in Emmaus, Pennsylvania.
