The state of Pennsylvania presented Nicholas E. Fick with a law license in 1983 after she graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

 

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Nicky guilty of the following misconduct

 

Nicky’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected at least two client cases

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Nicky by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

 

Nicky’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Nicky by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Nicky’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to follow through with client after receipt of settlement check

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Nicky by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.

 

Nicky’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to comply with court order
  • Failure to comply with court order re: discover led to dismissal of client’s case
  • Lied to client regarding status of litigation
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Nicky by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.
