Attorney Madeleine Kaufman of Jenkintown, PA; cheerleader for Crooked Attorneys

The state of Pennsylvania presented Madeleine Ronner Kaufman with a law license in 1985 after she graduated from Temple University School of Law.

In one matter, Madeleine was a member of an Attorney Disciplinary Panel that reviewed a law license reinstatement application submitted by attorney R. Elliott Toll who was convicted of one count of mail fraud, one count of aiding and abetting, and one count of obstruction of justice. He was subsequently sentenced to five (5) years in prison.

After donning a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads, Madeleine voted in favor of the reinstatement of Toll’s law license. Madeleine agreed with the laughable proposition that  was basically an upstanding citizen who would make the Pennsylvania Bar proud if he were reinstated. He went on to state:

  • He’s a responsible person
  • Didn’t hesitate to recommend that Toll be reinstated
  • Didn’t perceive his reinstatements to be detrimental to the public interest

According to this enabler for Crooked Lawyers, it is in the public’s interest to have a convicted felon practicing law in their area. Do you think Madeleine has made similar comments or came to the defense of convicted thieves and/or assorted felons that aren’t members of the bar.

Apparently, Madeleine is of the opinion that Toll had a constituitional right to earn a dishonest living practicing law in Pennsylvania.

Thanks to Madeleine and those of her ilk, the good citizens living in Doylestown are now burdened with having yet another convicted felon practicing law in their area.

As we speak (ca. January 2019), Madeleine practices her brand of law at 101 Greenwood Avenue in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.
