Attorney Clayton Lance of St. Helens, OR; ethical leprechaun

The state of Oregon provided Clayton J. Lance with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Oregon Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Clayton guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to achieve level or preparation necessary to represent client
  • Failed to promptly deliver property owing to client
  • Misconduct involved multiple violations
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Clayton!)
  • Failed to provide competent representation (Moron)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Clayton’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonishment for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Clayton by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Clayton practices with the Clayton Lance Group at 2034 Columbia Blvd in St. Helens, Oregon.
