Attorney Thomas O’Neil of Salem, OR; ethical ogre

The State of Oregon presented Thomas Daniel O’Neil with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Williamette University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Tommy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Knowingly disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal (Up yours, said Tommy!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Tommy!)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Failed to appear as a subpoenaed witness as a court hearing

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Tommy practices his brand of law with O'Neil & Holstedt at 687 Court Street NE in Salem, Oregon.
