The State of Oregon presented Keith Y. Boyd with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Whittier University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Keith guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to supervise staff’s bookkeeping and accounting activities
• Improperly removed client funds from trust before they were earned
• Failed to ensure office staff conduct was compatible with Keith’s professional obligations

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Keith.
