Attorney Lance Erickson of Salem, OR; slacker, loser

The state of Oregon provided Lance E. Erickson with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from the University of Oregon Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Lance guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to take necessary steps to protect client interest after discharge
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to properly communicate status of legal matter
  • Failed to appear at status conference on client’s behalf
  • Negligence led to loss of client’s job

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Vance’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonishment  for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Lance by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2018) Lance practices at 675 Church Street NE in Salem, Oregon.
