Attorney John Kolego of Eugene, OR; serial tax cheat

The state of Oregon provided John J. Kolego with a law license in 1985.

The Oregon State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Willfully failed to pay amounts deducted from employee wages to IRS for 17 years
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Knowingly failed to file federal tax Form 941 on quarterly basis
• Failed to file federal personal or corporate income tax returns and pay taxes for multiple calendar years
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Knowingly committed criminal acts
• Misconduct caused actual injury to taxing authorities

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2015) Johnny practices at 804 Pearl Street in Eugene, Oregon.
