The Mahoning County Bar Assn Grievance Committee found Tom guilty of the following misconduct.

  2. Intentionally caused damage and/or prejudice to client
  3. Failed to provide client requested accounting of client funds
  4. Failed to advise multiple client he didn’t carry legal malpractice insurance
  5. Intentionally failed to carry out contract of employment for legal services
  6. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Tom by gifting him with a complimentary stayed one-year suspension of his law license.
