Attorney James Alexander, Jr. of Cleveland Heights; ethical dwarf

The state of Ohio presented James Alexander, Jr.  with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Case Western University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found James guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Improperly deposited funds into attorney trust account
  2. Improperly wrote checks against trust account for personal expenses, including car payments, medications, cablevision and apartment rent
  3. Allowed his wife to write checks against his attorney trust account
  4. Failed to maintain required ledgers of client funds
  5. Wrote check on insufficient account (rubber)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2013), James practices at 2490 Lee Blvd in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
