Attorney Harvey Bruner of Cleveland; cheater

The state of Ohio presented Harvey Bruce Bruner with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

The Ohio State Bar Association found Harvey guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to communicate with clients
  2. Charged a clearly excessive fee (crook)
  3. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
  4. Failed to advise clients of his hourly rate
  5. Failed to maintain required time sheets or records to document billable hours
Harvey was ordered to make restitution to his clients (victims) as follows in regards to charging them clearly excessive fees.
  • $1,000 to Michael Cox
  • $8,500 to Shawn Burton
  • $2,500 to Robert Haidet
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Harvey by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Harvey.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Harvey practices with Harvey B. Bruner & Associates at 700 West St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio.
