Attorney Neal Atway of Youngstown, OH; convict

The state of Ohio presented Neal Atway with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Cleveland State University School of Law.

FYI: Capitol University School of Law is ranked as the 161st best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Supreme Court’s Disciplinary Counsel found Neal guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Charged with violating the Hobbs Act (Federal law re: robbery or extortion affecting interstate/foreign commerce)
  • Criminally charged with obstruction of justice and making false statement to law enforcement
  • Pled guilty to lesser charge and placed on probation for three years and four months of house arrest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Neal by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Neal practices at 19 East Front Street in Youngstown, Ohio.
