Attorney Darwin Roseman of Westerville, OH; lying loser

The State of Ohio presented Darwin Richard Roseman with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Capitol University Law School.

The Columbus Bar Association found Darwin guilty of the following misconduct. (Randy Ludlow, Columbus Dispatch)

• Missed deadlines for filing case on client’s behalf
• Misled [lied] to client in attempt to conceal misconduct
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct in handling personal-injury case
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to respond to insurance company re: extent of client’s injuries
• Failed to refile client’s case within one-ear statutory deadline
• Failed to inform client of decision requiring client’s consent
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Client obtained $135,000 malpractice judgement against Darwin

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Darwin by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2016), Darwin will be practicing at 652 Kingfisher Court in Westerville, Ohio, which is a suburb of Columbus when his suspension comes to an end in January 2017.
