Attorney Marvin Kaiser of Williston, ND; lying loser

The state of North Dakota presented Marvin Kaiser with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law.

The Disciplinary Board found Marv guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Charged with perjury, a class C felony
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Marv’s behavior was antithetical to the oath, the standards, and the ideals of the legal profession
  • Gave falsely testimony during a judicial proceeding

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Dakota Supreme Court punished Marv by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2024), Marv practices his so-called brand of law with the Kaiser Law Firm at 201 East 26th Street in Williston, North Dakota.
