Attorney Robert Bolinske Sr. of Bismarck, ND; ethical gnome

The state of North Dakota provided Robert Bolinske Sr. with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from Harvard University o Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while Bobby was campaigning in an attempt to dupe the voters in North Dakota to elect him to a seat on the North Dakota Supreme Court, an election that he lost.

• Declared himself a “brawler” who wasn’t impressed with the quality of some judges
• Said if elected he would “jack them up” [some judges] in his opinions
• Falsely accused former Supreme Court justice Dale Sandstrom and South Central District Judge Gail Hagerty and Hagerty’s husband of hiding public records
• Statements against Justice Sandstrom and Judge Hagerty were made knowingly or with reckless disregard as to their truth or falsity

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Dakota Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2018), Bobby practices with the Bolinske Law Firm at 7600 Northgate Drive in Bismarck, North Dakota.
