Attorney Ilonka Aylward of Charlotte; ethical misfit

The state of North Carolina presented Ilonka Aylward with a law license in 2003

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar charged Ilonka with the following misconduct.

1. Provided client with improper contingence fee agreement
2. Disclosed confident client information
3. Failed to cease work on matter after being discharged by client
4. Filed a frivolous (sham) Notice of Charging Lien against former client
5. Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Ilonka by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2014) Ilonka practices with Aylward Family Law at 1645 Scotland Avenue in Charlotte, North Carolina.
