Attorney Peter Henry of Arden, NC; liar, repeat offender

The state of North Carolina presented Peter R. Henry with a law license in 1996.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Made false statements to clients about work performed
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Pete’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Carolina State Bar punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the State Bar Disciplinary Board didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Pete.

As we speak (ca. February 2017) Pete practices at 2133 Hendersonville Road in Arden, North Carolina.
