Attorney Paul Whitfield of Charlotte; ethical dwarf

The state of North Carolina provided Paul L. Whitfield with a law license in 1963.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Refused to withdraw from a personal injury case after client fired him
• Failed an improper incompetency petition against former client
• Issued improper subpoenas and deposition notices
• Filed frivolous lawsuit against former client’s new attorney

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
