Attorney Paul Jackson of Clayton, NC; lying loser

The state of North Carolina provided Paul T. Jackson with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct while employed as a Johnston County assistant district attorney.

In one matter, Paulie found it acceptable to make inaccurate statements (lied) of material fact to the court that he had contacted the SBI Lab to obtain results of DNA testing. As a result of Paulie’s lie, a criminal defendant did not receive timely disclosure of exculpatory evidence and spent over 500 days in custody before charges against him were dismissed.

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Paulie.

As we speak (ca. June 2015) Paulie practices at 47 Hadley Lane in Clayton, North Carolina.
