Attorney John Murray of Tonawanda, NY; thief

The state of New Jersey presented John Wayne Murray with a law license in 1986after he graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the Eighth Judicial District found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
2. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
3. Misappropriated (stole) funds belonging to another
4. Commingled client funds with personal funds
5. Failed to maintain required record of bank accounts
6. Failed to make accurate entries of all financial transactions
7. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Johnny practices at 2577 Sheridan Drive in Tonawanda, New York.
