The state of Connecticut provided Demetrios Adamis with a law license in 1987.
The Statewide Grievance Committee found Thomas guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Demetrius represented the seller in a commercial real estate transaction. The HUD-I Settlement Statement was that Demetrius was involved with was not accurate. It did not reflect a “true and accurate” accounting of the real estate transaction.
Demetrius failed to properly set aside sufficient funds in a trust account to pay the commission on the sale of the real estate. As a result of his conduct, the commission was not paid in a timely manner as required.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Thomas by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. January 2013) Demetrios practices at 61-43 186th Street in Fresh Meadows, New York.
