Attorney Bruce Friedberg of New York City; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presented Bruce Douglas Friedberg with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from George Washington University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Bruce guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Assisted suspended attorney in the unauthorized practice of law
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct reflecting adversely on his fitness as a lawyer

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patrons for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
