Attorney Clemente Parente of Albany, NY; ethical dwarf

The state of New York presented Clemente J. Parente with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the Albany School of Law.

FYI: Albany Law School is ranked as the 138^th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Clem guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client escrow funds
• Due to Clem’s failure to oversee and supervise former partner’s conduct, the partner misappropriated [stole] $25,000 from client trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Clem by gifting him with a complimentary censure.  

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Clem practices with Jackson Lewis PC at 677 Broadway in Albany, New York.
