Attorney Paula Kay of Monticello, NY; check bouncing cheater  

The state of New York presented Paula Elaine Kay with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from the Brooklyn School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Paula guilty of the following misconduct.

• Converted client funds to personal use [cheater]
• Failed to deposit client funds into escrow account
• Issued checks against insufficient funds account [rubber]
• Failed to maintain accurate entries in records of escrow account
• Failed to properly title escrow account
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Paula!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Paula by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Paula practices with the Law Office of Paula Elaine Kay at 548 Broadway in Monticello, New York.
