Attorney Michael Hooper of Corning, NY; ethical gnome

The state of New York presented Michael Ronald Cooper with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from Texas A&M University Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to disburse funds to only those persons lawfully entitled to receive them
• Failed to maintain $200,000 retainer fee in separate client trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Mikey practices with The Hooper Law Firm PC at 23 West Market Street in Corning, New York.
