Attorney Richard Pu of New York City; serial liar/deceiver

The state of New York presented Richard PU with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The 1^st Department Disciplinary Board found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Made representation to court he absolutely knew to be false
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice  
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Trial court sanctioned Dick and his client $238,735 for discovery violations hen they refused to answer questions by repeatedly invoking the 5^th Amendment against self-incrimination
• Pursued preposterous (BS) litigation
• Repeatedly lied in pleadings submitted to court
• Court actions taken for improper purpose such as to delay legal proceeding

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Department Disciplinary Board punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
