Attorney Gary Novins of Garden City, NY; cheating loser

The state of New York presented Gary Robert Novins with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Touro Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged an excessive and unreasonable fee (cheater)
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Acquiesced to payment of compensation to himself as a witness that was contingent on the outcome of a case
• Violated his duty of loyalty to his clients
• Threatened to destroy evidence that crucial to ex-client’s malpractice claim
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Gary practices with Jonathan A. Tand & Associates PC at 990 Stewart Avenue in Garden City, New York.
