Attorney Marion McNulty of Sound Beach, NY; ethical dwarf

The state of New York presented Marion Theresa McNulty with a law license in 1976 after she graduated from Fordham University Law School.

Marion’s misconduct took place while she was sitting as a Justice of the Supreme Court in Suffolk County, which led to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct finding her guilty of the following misconduct.

• Over the course of several years, participated in fund raising activities for civic organization
• Personally handed out fund-raising flyers to court employees
• Improperly engaged in fund-raising activities in the courthouse
• Prepared and mailed out fund-raising flyers to acquaintances and friends
• Mailed fund-raising flyers to attorneys appearing in her court
• Improperly participated in solicitation of funds
• Engaged in fund-raising activities during time she was receiving judicial salary

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Marion by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.
