Attorney Eion McDonagh of Albany, NY; cheating loser

The state of New York presented Eion Nicholas McDonagh with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the Northern University of Ireland Law School in Galway, Ireland.

The Committee on Professional Standards found Eion guilty of the following misconduct.

• Breached fiduciary duty owed to clients
• Failed to monitor funds in attorney escrow account
• Knowingly utilized client funds for his personal purposes (cheater)
• Failed to safeguard client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Had Eion committed this misconduct in Ireland, his punishement would have been one case of Bushmill whiskey and two cases of Guiness stout.
