Attorney Michael Ambrecht of New York City; lying loser

The state of New York presented Michael Randolph Ambrecht with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Fordham University Law School.

Mike’s misconduct occurred while he was serving as a Judge of the Court of Claims and an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court in New York County, which led the Judicial Commission to find him guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mike saw fit to preside over two cases in which his personal attorney appeared, and for making a misleading and deceptive disclosure about the relationship on the record in one case and failing to disclose it at all in the second case.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2016) Mike practices with Ambrecht & Maloney PLLC and Counselors at Law at 245 Park Avenue in New York, New York.
