Attorney Michael Cain of Las Cruces, NM; ethical dwarf

The state of New Mexico presented Michael E. Cain with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Columbia University School of Law.

The New Mexico Disciplinary Board found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, regarding a complaint from a State District Court Judge based on a child custody/visitation hearing.

• Mikey claimed the judge had a conflict of interest in presiding over the matter
• Engaged in conduct intended to disrupt a tribunal
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2023), Mikey practices his so-called brand of law with The Law Office of Michael E. Cain at 1060 South Main Street in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
