Attorney Charles Grau of Concord, NH;  ethical goblin

The state of New Hampshire presented Charles W. Grau with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Misconduct caused potential injury to his client
• Conduct was primarily negligent
• Failed to obtain written consent from conflicted parties

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Charlie by gifting him with complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Charlie practices with Upton & Hatfield LLP in Concord, New Hampshire.
