Attorney Sherri Harris of Branson, MO; moronic loser

The state of Missouri presented Sherri Lynn Harris with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from the University of Missouri Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Sherri guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to appear at adoption hearing on client’s behalf
• Nonappearance at adoption hearing resulted in termination of parental rights and adoption of client’s children
• Failed to timely file motion to set aside default judgment on client’s behalf
• Failed to provide competent services (Dumbo)
• Failed to advise client of status of legal matter
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Sherri!)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Sherrie by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on Disciplinary Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Sherri.
