Attorney Stanley Leino of Brooklyn Center, MN; lying thief

The state of Minnesota presented Stanley J. Leino with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from William Mitchell Law School.

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Stan guilty of the following misconduct

  • Misappropriated (stole) client funds
  • Fabricated and forged documents
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Made false statements under oath (perjury) to conceal misappropriations (thefts)
  • Filed false police report against former clients who filed ethics complaint against him by falsely stating they burglarized his office and kidnapped him
  • Mailed an anonymous, threatening note to district judge assigned to his disciplinary case
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Stan by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Minnesota are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Stan was never criminally charged with perjury or for filing a false police report.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Stan practices at 7118 Francis Avenue North in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.
