Attorney Thomas Lowe of Eagan, MN; adulterer, loser

The state of Minnesota presented Thomas P. Lowe with a law license in 1985.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Tommy was asked by an acquaintance to represent her in a divorce, which Tommy agreed to do.

Subsequently, the attorney-client relationship evolved into a sexual one. In a lame effort at levity, Tommy the ethics investigators that he maintained his professionalism while he was screwing his client and even went as far as to bill her for the time he spent screwing her.

As one would suspect, at the outset, Tommy denied he was screwing his client; however several months later he admitted he was nothing more than a lying adulterer.

It takes a really classy married man to actually bill a client for the time he spent having sex with her.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2014), it shouldn’t be long before Tommy has his license reinstated, which will give him an opportunity to earn a dishonest living as an attorney.
