Attorney Travis Thompson of Minneapolis; ethical ogre

The state of Minnesota presented Travis Craig Thompson with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Travis guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to appear at court hearing on client’s behalf
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to provide competent representation
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failure to attend court hearing result in dismissal of client’s case

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Travis by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
