Attorney Karlowba Powell of St. Paul, MN; moronic slacker

The state of Minnesota presented Karlowba R. Adams Powell with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from William Mitchell College School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Karlowba guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation [moron]
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Knowingly disobeyed obligation owed to a tribunal
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Karlowba by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license and assessed $900.00 in costs.
