Attorney Joanna Wiegert of Cloquet, MN; ethical gremlin

The state of Minnesota presented Joanna M. Wiegert with a law license in 1991after she graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Joanna guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain required trust account books and records
• Engaged in negligent misappropriation [theft] of client funds
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Joanna by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed $900.00 in costs.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Joanna practices with the Wiegert Law Office at 124 Avenue C in Cloquet, Minnesota.

As one would suspect, Joanna fails to mention said misconduct on her self-serving website at www.wiegertlaw.com. Apparently, Joanna decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so as to not limit his future victim pool.
