Attorney Karl Ranum of Stillwater, MN; liar, tax scofflaw  

The state of Minnesota presented Karl Matthew Ranum with a law license in 1978.

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Karl guilty of the following misconduct.

• Made false statement to court
• Failed to draft qualifed domestic relations order in timely manner
• Failed to file state and federal personal income tax returns for five (5) consecutive years
• Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law while license suspended
• Misused trust account
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to maintain required trust account books and records
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Karl by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Frankie practices with the Ranum Law Office at 116 ½ Central Avenue in Buffalo, Minnesota.
