Attorney Joseph Wentzell of St. Anthony, MN; lying loser

The state of Minnesota presented Joseph Anthony Wentzell with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Engaged in conduct with intent to deceive bankruptcy court and the creditors
  • Failed to comply with applicable federal laws, rules and regulations
  • Failed to disclose material facts to the court
  • Made false or misleading statements
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to exhibit candor towards a tribunal
  • Faield to act fairly towards opposing party and counsel
  • Was untruthful in statements made to others
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2015), Joey practices at 2812 Anthony Lane in St. Anthony, Minnesota, which is in Hennepin County.
